Do This A Day Before Your Boudoir Photography Session
So you want to book a boudoir photography session. You’ve most probably heard of it from your friends and relatives. Did you try it before? How was it? Did you prepare for your big day? If not, this article is for you. If you are going to attend a session soon, we have compiled a list of tips that will help you prepare for the day:
1. Moisturize the day before:
This is the best way to make your skin appear fresh and healthy. When
you do your makeup the next day, your skin is going to feel super soft
and you’ll look the best. The best routine would be to get a nice warm
shower, exfoliate and grab your lotion supplies to apply to the warm
skin.
2. Finishing touches: Another thing that we suggest is to hire a professional for waxing and tanning touches a few days before the shoot.
3. Outfits matter:
Make sure that you try your outfits a day or maybe a week before the
photoshoot. This will give you and your photographer a complete idea of
what works and what does not.
4. Wear the loosest clothing you can:
So before your session day, you should avoid wearing any kind of tight
clothing like bra and underwear, tight pyjamas, tops, etc. Why do we
suggest this? Because these clothes leave marks on your skin. And these
marks aren’t great for your photoshoot. Try to do this at least 24 hrs
before your photoshoot.
5. Be confident: We
recommend that you create a music playlist to listen to on the day. If
you are someone who gets nervous in front of the camera, this trick can
work magic for you.
Finally, be confident in your physique,
even if you aren't at your best. Remember that it's all about paying
attention to your body, its uniqueness, beauty, and independence.
